The three main types of interior lighting are ambient, task, and accent lighting. While the former are typically accounted for (think overhead lights and lamps), accent lighting often gets overlooked. But it makes a huge impact on the look and feel of your space creating a high-end look.
Lighting
For these built-ins, we installed:
- Custom LED lighting in diffused channels under each shelf
- Uplighting below the paneling to enhance the texture of the wood accent wall
Cord Management & Power
You can’t see it (that’s the point!), but we also installed:
- An in-wall recessed outlet for the TV’s power cord
- Outlets inside the cabinets for game consoles and streaming boxes
- A hidden channel inside the wall to easily run HDMI cords from the TV down into the cabinet below.
